A Word From Nick

Dear patients and referring doctors,

I would like to thank you for choosing me to be your oral surgeon.  I am humbled that you would entrust me with your care, and I do not take this responsibility lightly.  My approach to the practice of oral and maxillofacial surgery begins with treating each patient and referral in the manner I would expect a health care provider to treat myself or a family member.  My primary goal is to build trust with you and decrease uncertainty.

I understand that as patients and referring doctors you are looking for a provider not only with excellent technical ability, but also someone who takes the time to genuinely talk with and listen to patients.  Your decision to entrust your care to me is an important one, and it should be understood that I will take whatever steps necessary to thoroughly explain all treatment options.

Similarly, I believe in the importance of direct and honest communication as well as business practices.  My promise to patients and referring doctors is to provide an authentic and practical conversation during consultations rather than a sales pitch.

Furthermore, I believe that you as a patient or referral should have questions and concerns addressed in a timely manner.  My promise to you is that as your provider I will be accessible in times of need.

I am blessed with the opportunity to start my practice in southwest Louisiana.  In my opinion, the people and culture are unmatched anywhere. I’m glad to be home, and want to thank you again for the privilege of being your oral and maxillofacial surgeon.

Sincerely,

Nick
